A new era of cargo transportation between Belgium and the UK
Celebrating the Anniversary of our Rebrand
In 2018, Europa Road acquired Belgian unaccompanied trailer operation Continental Cargo Carriers, which came under the Europa Road banner in 2022. Since its rebrand, the team has doubled in size and expanded its resources to better support local customers.
Since the Europa Goddess arrived in Belgium, the team has gone from strength to strength expanding Europa Road’s offering across the channel as they are perfectly placed to optimise the flow of goods with the UK post-Brexit.

With 1,400 staff and over £300M / €350 turnover, Europa is one of the UK’s largest independent logistics companies. Its Roadfreight arm, Europa Road, has grown from being one of the first transport companies to establish express services into mainland Europe, to now being market leader for Groupage in the UK and renowned across the continent for optimising the flow of goods between Europe and the UK post-Brexit.

In 2018, Europa Worldwide Group acquired Continental Cargo Carriers – a Belgium company with a long history and enviable reputation for operating unaccompanied transport to the UK. On 1st September 2022, Continental Cargo Carriers became Europa Road – beginning a new era of unparalleled cargo transportation.
